Where is your office located?
I offer virtual appointments throughout Arizona, so you can join from the comfort of your home or another private location.
What are your hours?
Currently, I offer appointments on Monday – Thursday at 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am-5:00 pm.
How long is a typical session?
All sessions are 50 minutes.
How do I pay?
You will enter your form of payment into the secure client portal and pay after each session.
What is a free initial phone consultation?
The free initial phone consultation is a 15-minute phone call that allows us to get to know each other a bit, for you to ask any questions you may have, and for us to determine if we are a good fit to work together.
Who is your perfect client?
I work exclusively with women, ages 30-60, who struggle with unhealthy relationships with food, body image issues, depression, or anxiety.
Do you work with people from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions?
Yes, my practice is open to people of diverse backgrounds. I strive to provide a safe and supportive space for people of varying ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
What can a therapist do?

A therapist can give you a safe space to talk about your challenges and gain knowledge about coping strategies and concepts that may help you overcome your struggles.

Working with a therapist can also help you discover insights about your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how to effectively work with them to make positive changes in your life.

A therapist is a nonjudgmental listener and supporter who will also provide encouragement and empowerment.

What kind of treatment do you provide?
I offer a solution-focused, strengths-based approach and utilize treatment modalities such as Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Intuitive Eating.
Do your clients get better?
Yes! Clients I work with report experiencing more freedom related to food, a more neutral or positive body image, reduced depression and anxiety symptoms, increased confidence, and a greater sense of purpose.
How long have you been in practice?
For more than 20 years, I have worked in various settings, including community mental health, addiction clinics, integrated teletherapy, and private practice.
What are your strengths as a therapist?

My temperament is very calm, creating a soothing presence with the women with whom I work in therapy. I have personal experience and formal training working with food relationships and body image issues, allowing me to relate well with my clients.

I meet clients where they are and do my best not to impose my agenda on them.

What do you enjoy about being a therapist?
Sharing knowledge, encouragement, and empowerment with other women brings me joy. Knowing that I am helping other women feel good about themselves and break free from unreasonable societal expectations gives me a sense of fulfillment and purpose.
What is your educational background?
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling. I am licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor in Arizona. I continually take CEU courses to expand my knowledge and keep my skills fresh.

Living in the present and living in alignment with my values bring the most joy!
