Your life is mostly together, and most people wouldn’t suspect that you may need extra help, so it’s understandable that you may have doubts about talking with me. You are competent at handling life the best you can.

But even the strongest among us need someone to share their concerns and challenges with, someone who can provide support and validation. In our work together, you will truly be listened to and encouraged, as well as be given practical tools to help bring relief to your struggles.

During our virtual sessions, you will find that I am very laid back and tend to help women feel at ease and comfortable talking about personal issues related to food and body image. Because I have dealt with my challenges around food and body image, I am especially mindful of how sensitive these topics can be and craft my sessions to provide safety and empowerment.

Throughout the first few months of our work, you will gain practical knowledge about Intuitive Eating and how to apply it. This knowledge helps remove the burden of food obsession and neutralizes body hatred, leading to more freedom to live life in alignment with what’s truly important to you.

As a woman living in a larger body who has done my work around these issues, I can confidently share that Intuitive Eating can help to regain confidence, improve self-image, and live more fully.

My mission is to help women gain freedom from ineffective conditioning and self-limiting beliefs so they may feel good about themselves, thrive, and genuinely be happy.

My therapy practice embodies this mission directly by working with women to develop a healthier relationship with food and their bodies.

Training equips me to help you.

My formal education and professional experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, plus my personal mental health experience, provide me with a unique perspective and help me relate to what my clients are going through. My training and expertise also allow me to offer practical solutions to my client’s problems.

I will encourage you to embrace your authentic self while sharing mental health “superpowers,” such as Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Intuitive Eating, to empower you to succeed in your recovery.

Living life to its fullest is my goal.

In addition to the fulfilling work I do in my therapy practice, my dream life includes adventuring through the trails of Southeastern Arizona with my dog, Kapri.

I also fill my spirit through stargazing, life-long learning through reading, creative expression in writing, grounding with meditating, loving on friends and family, and engaging in fun and self-care through cooking and trying new artisanal teas.
